Information about Cookies
Cookies are small text files used to obtain information about browsing on a site.
This site uses permanent tracking systems or cookies to monitor users. Accessing the site might result in text files being sent from the server to the user’s PC or browsing device to obtain information about the user’s browsing of the site. Pursuant to Section 122 of the Privacy Code, it is hereby noted that sending technical cookies is necessary for the proper functioning and browsing of various parts of the www.sturipizza.it website.
Under current regulations following Legislative Decree 69/2012 coming into force, technical cookies can be used without user consent. The European umbrella body for all the Privacy Authorities in the various Member States (known as the “Article 29 Group”) issued Opinion 4/2012 (WP194) on Cookie Consent Exemption clarifying that prior, informed consent from the user is not required for the following cookies:
1) User‑input cookies (session-id) for the duration of a session or persistent cookies limited to a few hours in some cases;
2) Authentication cookies, to identify the user once he/she has logged in, for the duration of a session;
3) User‑centric security cookies, used to detect authentication abuses, for a limited persistent duration;
4) Multimedia content player cookies, such as cookies for flash players, for the duration of a session;
5) Load balancing cookies, for the duration of a session;
6) User‑interface customization cookies, for the duration of a session (or slightly longer);
7) Third‑party social plug‑in content‑sharing cookies, for logged‑in members of a social network.
You are free to accept or reject the sending of all or some of our cookies to your device; however, some of the technical cookies sent by our server are necessary for those parts of the service that require the identification of the user browsing route through the website pages. Thus, the absence of such cookies might result in the site’s functionality being comprised or it might not work at all. If you agree to receive cookies from our site, you can, at any time, change your choice and simply and easily deactivate the functioning of some or all the cookies by changing the settings in the browser you use.
Each browser has its own way of managing cookies, so we are including links to the specific instructions for the most common browsers:

Cookies used:
- Session cookies (technical cookies)
The use of technical cookies (which are not stored persistently on the user’s computer and expire when the browser is closed) is strictly limited to sending the session identifiers (random numbers generated by the server) needed for secure and efficient site browsing. The session cookies used for this site avoid the need to use other IT techniques that might compromise the confidentiality of user browsing and they do not allow the acquisition of personal details that could identify the user.
- Statistical cookies (analytical cookies)
Every time a user visits the website, analytical software tracks the cookies anonymously. This enables us to monitor the number of users, the pages visited or the time spent on a specific page. This site uses Google Analytics, a statistical and web analysis service provided by Google Inc. It is used to see which pages are viewed the most by site users/visitors, to see how long they spend on such pages and the geographical location of the user/visitor. Such information is used solely for statistical purposes and is processed anonymously. The information gathered by Google Analytics, including the user/visitor’s IP address, is sent anonymously to the Google Inc. server. Moreover, such cookies cannot be used to profile or identify specific users, and they are simply used to provide aggregate statistical information.
Third party cookies
While browsing www.sturipizza.it, the user might also have cookies from third-party servers or sites sent to his/her device. This happens because the website might have elements – e.g. images, maps or specific links to web pages on other domains – that are hosted on servers other than the one where the required page is found. In other words, such cookies are configured directly by the operators of the web sites or servers that are not www.sturipizza.it.
Such cookies can be sent to the user’s browser by third-party companies directly from their websites that can be accessed by browsing www.sturipizza.it. In such cases, Essetre S.r.l. is completely external to the functioning of such cookies as this is the responsibility of these third-party companies. As the Garante (Italian Privacy Authority) clarified: “Being the data controller, the operator of any website making use of cookies is required to inform users about cookies and obtain their prior consent. Where a website allows the sending of third-party cookies, it is the third party that shall provide information and obtain user consent. Users must be informed appropriately, in accordance with the simplicity required by law, at the time they access a website that allows the sending of third-party cookies or whenever they access content made available by such third parties; in all cases, such information must be provided before cookies are downloaded to the user’s device.”
